What you can expect from our children’s ministry…
- Consistency and communication that build a healthy, connected program.
- Systems and policies designed to keep every child safe while in our care.
- Regular programming led by qualified, background-checked adults.
- Biblically based, intentional teaching that points children to Jesus.
- A fun, welcoming environment where invitation and participation are encouraged.

- A genuine sense of community among children, families, and volunteers
On a weekly basis we offer children’s Sunday school and nursery care during the worship hour. The Sunday school gathering includes fun, fellowship, teaching/conversation, and prayer. We also offer special programming on a monthly basis for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders called “Club 345” which allows for intentional time with our older children as they mature and prepare to graduate into the youth ministry. There are also regular annual rhythms that to help in the spiritual formation of our children which include Vacation Bible School and other events centered around important holidays.

Anna Mays
Director of Children’s Ministries & Wilson Christian Preschool
Anna Mays has had the pleasure of serving in children’s ministry for nearly a decade, beginning as a Vacation Bible School and Sunday school volunteer. She now serves as the Director of Children’s Ministry at Wilson Community Church. Anna graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Economics, where her faith was deeply shaped through rigorous theological study and Christian community. Alongside her ministry work, Anna is also a writer and multidisciplinary designer. Though her roles may vary, she views all of them as part of a single calling—a ministry of education, creativity, and truth to the glory of God.Her hope for Children’s Ministry is to help kids grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to equip parents to do the same. Anna and her husband, Logan, moved to Colorado Springs in 2025 and are excited to grow roots at Wilson and make disciples who make disciples through the next generation.
