This is far more than a name change or a mere transfer of membership. This is an opportunity to continue to fulfill your vows of baptism and membership, and to faithfully participate in the spiritual formation, worship, stewardship, and service of Wilson Community Church. Please let us know your intention.
If you wish to maintain your membership in the United Methodist Church, you can contact the Mountain Sky Conference of the United Methodist Church at (303) 733-3736, or visit the website at www.mtnskyumc.org. This way you can maintain your membership in the UMC until you find a new church.
Annual Conference Vote
Wilson family,
This message is to notify you of the results of the Annual Conference vote on disaffiliation. For disaffiliation to pass a simple majority was needed. The delegates of the Mountain Sky Annual Conference voted to APPROVE our disaffiliation by 94%.
This means that our church will officially be removed as a United Methodist congregation effective July 1 and/or once all official property documents have been processed. Welcome to Wilson Community Church! Please be on the look out for future information and continue to hold the Mountain Sky Conference, and their continued work and ministry, in your prayers.
